Hemp 101
Full Spectrum vs. Broad Spectrum vs. CBD Isolate
Full Spectrum
All the compounds found in the hemp plant including: cannabinoids, terpenes, & essential oils. Typically referred to as the “entourage effect” full spectrum hemp oil can increase the benefits and allow the different cannabinoids, terpenes, & essential oils extracted from the plant to work together. Some people experience more benefical effects from full spectrum hemp oil vs. CBD Isolate. Full spectrum hemp oil does contain the legal 0.3% of THC allowed per 2018 Farm Bill.
Broad Spectrum
Broad Spectrum hemp oil is to some extent a mix between full spectrum and CBD Isolate. Many Compounds within the hemp plant are preserved in broad spectrum with the exception of THC (NO THC). Broad Spectrum hemp oil can distribute the increased benefits of full spectrum oil know as the “entourage effect” without the risk of being exposed to THC. If someone was looking for the many beneficial properties of Full Spectrum hemp oil, but was sensitive to THC (or was drug tested regularly) this would a great alternative.
CBD Isolate
